The GBA loves continues this week with a couple more gems for the Wii U’s Virtual Console. Plus other stuff!
Beginning April 4th, Nintendo will begin distribution of Electabuzz and Magmar to European Pokémon X and Pokémon Y players. The Pokémon you get will depend on your game version, with X owners recieving Magmar and Y owners recieving Electabuzz. Both come holding the relevent items that let them evolve into Magmortor and Electivire.
If you’re in the UK, just head to GAME and ask for a code. You don’t need to buy anything! Other European countries will have different stores to visit, so check out your respective Pokémon website for exact details.
It’s a big week for the Wii U as the GBA Virtual Console service finally launches. With a trio of superb games, it’s off to a good start, too.
The Gameboy Advance is finally hitting the Virtual Console for the Wii U in April and we now know the first batch of games that will be released. It’s a good selection! Apparently they are £6.29 each.
A new StreetPass Puzzle is being distributed via SpotPass, this time for Nintendo’s latest 3DS release, Yoshi’s New Island. Just keep an eye on your 3DS for the blinking blue light.
Finally, another Super Nintendo game for the Wii U’s Virtual Console! And this one’s a good’n, too.
A fairly quiet week this week, no doubt to let people breathe before the bombshell that is Super Mario Kart is released next week. This week’s highlight is probably the only Miyamoto game to never come out in North America, Devil World.
